Job Description

Our shop is looking for someone 18 or older to work approximately 10 to 20 hours per week, primarily weekend shifts. More hours may be obtained when other employees are asking for time off and during holidays or by offering dog wash services.

This is very often a fast-paced job that requires physical endurance, energy, and a keen ability to prioritize the tasks at hand.  CLIPPING DOG TOENAILS WILL BE REQUIRED.

Self-Service Dog Wash Attendant:  Assist customers and their dogs, demonstrate the dog wash routine for first-time customers, clean tubs continuously throughout the day, run the cash register, answer the phone, wash/fold towels, mix shampoos and fill shampoo bottles, price retail and stock shelves, and help with various other projects in order to maintain a clean/organized shop at all times. First priority will always be to assist customers in whatever way necessary and ALWAYS with a friendly attitude. You will be required to clip dogs' toenails.

Requirements: We are looking for an energetic, cheerful, industrious, and extremely dependable individual who has excellent customer service skills. This person must have the ability to lift heavy objects (dog steps and heavy dogs), and a love of animals! We prefer someone that has experience clipping dogs' toenails, but will consider someone willing to learn.

Compensation: Hourly rate varies depending on experience.  However, INCLUDING TIPS you can expect to gross anywhere from $21 to $28 per hour.
